Sea Moss Turkey Noodle Soup

A Nourishing Twist on Classic Chicken Noodle Soup

Ingredients:

• 1 tbsp olive oil

• 1 small onion, diced

• 2 cloves garlic, minced

• 2 medium carrots, sliced

• 2 celery stalks, sliced

• 6 cups vegetable broth

• 1 bay leaf

• 1 tsp dried thyme

• 1/2 tsp dried oregano

• 1/2 tsp black pepper (adjust to taste)

• 1/2 tsp sea salt (adjust to taste)

• 2 cups cooked turkey (or chicken), shredded

• 1 1/2 cups egg noodles (or gluten-free noodles of choice)

• 1-2 tsp Cooking With Love OG Sea Moss Gel (per serving or added to the pot)

• 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

• 1/2 lemon, juiced (optional, for brightness)

 

Instructions:

1. Sauté Aromatics:

• Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

• Add diced onion, garlic, carrots, and celery. Sauté for 3-5 minutes until onions are translucent and vegetables begin to soften.

2. Build the Flavor:

• Pour in the vegetable broth and add the bay leaf, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper.

• Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce to a simmer. Let it cook for about 10 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

3. Add Turkey & Noodles:

• Stir in the cooked shredded turkey and noodles. Simmer for another 8-10 minutes until the noodles are tender.

4. Incorporate Sea Moss Gel:

• If adding Cooking With Love OG Sea Moss Gel to the whole pot, stir in 2 teaspoons now and mix well.

• If adding per bowl, ladle soup into individual bowls and stir in 1-2 teaspoons of sea moss gel before serving.

5. Finish & Serve:

• Remove the bay leaf.

• Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

• Stir in fresh parsley and a squeeze of lemon juice if using.

 

Serving Suggestion:

Pair with whole grain crackers or a slice of sourdough bread for a comforting meal.
